Date: August 28, 2017 – 1600 hours CDT – Houston
The Port of Houston remains closed as well as the terminal in Jacinto. I am pleased to report that the National Glory is safely at anchorage waiting for conditions to improve.
All cargo is reported safe and secure both onboard the National Glory and at Jacinto Terminal.
The Port of Houston and our terminal will remain closed on Tuesday, August 29th.
Most of the region’s main highways and roadways are impassable at critical junctions. Texas Department of Transportation in encouraging only essential personnel to be on the roadways throughout Houston.
Judging from what we know today, our best estimate for our schedule for Voyage 110 southbound is sailing Houston Saturday, September 2nd and arriving San Juan on Thursday PM, September 7th with cargo availability on Friday, September 8th.
Rest assured we will proceed at maximum speed and offer late gate deliveries once we arrive in San Juan.
